Real Estate Broker and Agent CE: 2018
The appraisal cycle is almost over, so it's time to turn my attention to agent CE for Pennsylvania licensees, who have to renew their license by May 31, 2018. For the past several years, the State Real Estate Commission has required licensees renewing their licenses for the first time to take 14 hours in required topics. These courses are known as the "newbie" courses, and of course, I have written them and will be offering them.
But, this year, non-newbies (agents and brokers renewing for any cycle other than the first one) have a required 3 hour course in PA law. None of us in the education field really understand why the SREC made this 3 hours, instead of 3.5 hours. However, I have written a course that is 3.5 hours (so it fits in neatly with your required 14 hours of CE). I'll be teaching this all over, and it is called "Keep Calm and Follow the Rules". This has been licensed to several associations; if your association does not have its own school, RAYAC is happy to be your provider, and I will bring this course to you. Contact me for details.
I will also be posting about other courses I'll be offering this cycle; stay tuned!
